What is GetCoveredNJ?
Get Covered NJ is the official health insurance marketplace for the state of New Jersey, established in 2019. It is the only state platform that offers financial assistance to reduce monthly premium costs and out-of-pocket expenses.
What does Get Covered NJ offer?
Plan Comparison: Allows residents to compare different health insurance options to choose the most suitable one.
Financial Assistance: Provides tax credits and state subsidies to help cover insurance costs.
Enrollment Period: Generally, open enrollment runs from November 1st to January 31st. Special enrollment periods also exist for situations such as marriage, birth, or loss of coverage.
Who can enroll?
Any New Jersey resident who does not have affordable health insurance through their employer, Medicaid, or Medicare. Financial assistance depends on income and household size.
